Early Childhood Development

Enabling every child to grow, thrive and succeed.

Setting the foundations for lifelong learning, development and health

A child’s early years are the building blocks for their future development. Access to good quality pre-primary education and care helps set every child up to thrive and succeed throughout school. It also provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning and cognitive and social development. Early years education plays an important role in reducing income and social gaps, enabling school readiness when entering primary school.
